Stars Who Have Slated Their Own Movies

Whilst most actors are proud of their work, even if it is totally terrible, sometimes they just want to disown them!

I was pretty surprised at how some completely slated the films they were in, I'm so used to actors bigging up the movies they're involved in and self-promoting themselves all over social networking sites. But I guess everyone has an opinion and just because it's their work it doesn't mean they have to like it!

Here are a few stars who have slammed their own movies and what they had to say about them:

Sylvester Stallone

The film he slated: ‘Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot’
The quote: “I made some truly awful movies. 'Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot' was the worst. If you ever want someone to confess to murder, just make him or her sit through that film. They will confess to anything after 15 minutes.”

Megan Fox

The film she slated: ‘Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen’
The quote: She blasted director Michael Bay for being "like Hitler" and slated the film for having "too much SFX and not enough acting opportunities."

Alec Guinness

The film he slated:
 ‘Star Wars’
The quote: “Apart from the money, I regret having embarked on the film. I like them well enough, but it’s not an acting job, the dialogue – which is lamentable – keeps being changed and only slightly improved, and I find myself old and out of touch with the young.”

Halle Berry

The film she slated: ‘Catwoman’
The quote: "It was just what my career needed - I was at the top, now I'm at the bottom."

Shia LaBeouf

The film he slated:
‘Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen’ (again)
The quote: "It's just a bunch of robots fighting each other."

Edward Norton

The film he slated:
‘The Italian Job’
The quote: "My real fans should give this a miss."

George Clooney

The film he slated:
'Batman and Robin'
The quote: “I think we might have killed the franchise.”

Katherine Heigl

The film she slated: ‘Knocked Up’
The quote: “…A little sexist. It paints the women as shrews, as humourless and uptight, and it paints the men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys.”

Christopher Plummer

The film he slated:
 ‘The Sound of Music’
The quote: “It was so awful and sentimental and gooey. You had to work terribly hard to try and infuse some minuscule bit of humour into it.”

Do you agree with them? Or do you think these movies ruled?
